Swiss Diamond braadpan 20 cm

Wij willen u informeren over een geheel nieuw model. Dit betreft een braadpan van 20 cm omtrek, deze heeft een inhoud van 2,2 liter en een hoogte van 8,5 cm. De pan is optisch vergelijkbaar met de 24 cm braadpan. De nieuwe braadpan zal voor alle warmtebronnen leverbaar zijn, in 2 modellen. Een reguliere uitvoering welke niet geschikt is voor inductie, een uitvoering welke wel voor inductie geschikt is.

About a month ago Stacy, from Swiss Diamond, contacted me and asked me if I wanted to try out their new nano-composite diamond technology pans. I paused a little because frankly, I don’t use non-stick pans.  All my pans/pots are either stainless steel, aluminum, or cast-iron.

My experience with non-stick pans has always been mixed.  They work for the first few months then become a non-functioning hard to work with piece of garbage that gets thrown away quickly (I’m not the type of person that likes to keep things when they don’t work properly, the second that I don’t have the same performance I started out with then I get it fixed or toss it).  I cook a lot so having a piece of equipment hold me back is something I don’t have patience for.

I asked Stacy to send me the pan over and I immediately went on a rampage in order to try and break it down. It was free for me and honeslty the retail price for this costs more than almost all my pots combined so why not try to put the Ferrari to a speed test?   I blackened food with it, high heat sauteed then threw the entire pan in the oven to finish cooking, let my roommates try it, put it in the dishwasher, and even scraped the top with a metal spoon.  The damn thing still performs beautifully.

The thing that brought me even closer with this pan is when I had my accident at work.  I’m stuck at home for a while and those cast iron pans are really heavy to flip food on and maintain….too many steps to follow.  I have had to put them away and go simple. This Swiss Diamond pan has become my favorite without question.  The handle is ergonomic and I feel like it was molded for my hand to fit perfectly….it’s quite amazing.   The best part is that once I’m done cooking I just give it a quick wipe and it’s ready to go for the next kitchen experiment. Pretty much everything you have seen on this site over the past week has been cooked with this pan exclusively and if I didn’t have it then I wouldn’t have been able to present as many dishes.

I love this pan. It will always have a special place in my heart. I started out trying to destroy it but now I want to take care of it and call it my own…..it’s helped me out a lot and I am so happy that Swiss Diamond sent me this pan. It’s been a sanity saver.

If you’re in the market for a non-stick pan then give Swiss Diamond a try. They’re on the higher end of price but it’s totally worth it.  If you need one non-stick pan then make sure it’s a Swiss Diamond.
